You have distinguished yourself as a pro-business candidate who will champion free enterprise, economic competitiveness, and growth for the benefit of all Ohioans. 

COLUMBUS – The Ohio Chamber of Commerce PAC is proud to announce its endorsement of Sen. Sandra
O’Brien (R-Rome) in the 2024 primary election for the 32nd Ohio Senate District.
“Through Sen. O’Brien’s years of experience as an educator, she understands that our students are the
workforce of the future,” said Ohio Chamber CEO Steve Stivers. “Sen. O’Brien is also very involved in her
district’s local chambers of commerce, which shows that she truly prioritizes the business community
and its needs. She understands the importance of a strong partnership between government and
business.”
Senator Sandra O’Brien is currently serving her first term in the Ohio Senate. Before her time at the
Statehouse, she previously served as Ashtabula County Auditor for three terms.
O’Brien received her bachelor’s degree in education from Bowling Green State University and her
master’s degree in educational administration from Edinboro University. She is a former teacher at both
the elementary and collegiate levels. Senator O’Brien and her husband reside on a small farm in
Ashtabula County and are the proud parents of four children and five grandchildren.
