Ohio Sen. Sandra O’Brien (R-Rome) assured a room full of Geauga County officials Dec. 7 she will work with her committee to address the property re-evaluations that recently increased property taxes.
The Ohio legislature recently passed House Bill 68, which protects women’s sports in Ohio, keeping equality for girls and women on the playing field. The bill also prevents gender reassignment surgeries and the use of cross-sex hormones and puberty blockers for children, protecting them from procedures and drugs that have life-long consequences while ensuring access to mental health care.
